Teresa Taylor

Teresa Taylor is a second-generation cannabis advocate with expertise in public relations. She attended Canada’s first Hempfest with her father, activist and former Grand Forks mayor Brian Taylor, and later represented the Granby Hemp Co-op at the first hemp display at the PNE. Teresa is a founding director of the Craft Cannabis Association of BC, founding member of the Canadian Cannabis Coalition and Marijuana Party of Canada, and the top vote getter for the BC Marijuana Party. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Social Work from UBC, with graduate study in ethnobiology. She has worked outreach in mental health and substance use, for Kelowna’s first mobile needle exchange program, and created a drug education program for youth. Taylor also has a decade of experience as a marketing consultant for rural BC businesses. She is passionate about the contribution of BC’s agricultural heritage to craft cannabis production.
